Delete your Steady account
How to request deletion of your Steady account and all associated data.
You can ask us to permanently delete your Steady account and the data associated with it at any time. There is no charge, and you do not need an active subscription (Steady is free).
How to request deletion
- Email soumyazyx@gmail.com from the email address you use to sign in to Steady, with the subject line “Delete my Steady account”.
- We confirm the request against your signed-in email address (so that no one else can delete your account), then delete it.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile — the email address and name received from Google sign-in.
- All of your monitors and their full check history and incidents.
- All notification channels you configured (email addresses, webhook URLs).
- Any status pages you created.
- All registered devices and their push (FCM) tokens.
What we keep
Nothing that identifies you is kept after deletion. Residual copies may persist briefly in encrypted, access-controlled backups; those are purged on our normal backup-rotation schedule (see retention below). We may retain non-identifying, aggregate operational logs that cannot be linked back to you.
Timing & retention
- Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days of verification.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within a further 30 days.
Deleting individual data without closing your account
You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove data: you can delete any individual monitor at any time from your dashboard, which removes that monitor and its history.
